Masters of Counseling with Specialty in Marriage, Family Therapy

Isabella completed her graduate studies at Saint Mary’s College of California. Her education was rooted in a holistic and relational approach to understanding the human experience, emphasizing the ways our relationships, life experiences, and larger systems shape who we are. A strong emphasis in the program was social justice, cultural humility, and multicultural competency preparing Isabella to work thoughtfully and ethically with clients of diverse backgrounds and identities.

Certificate in OCD Basics from the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF)

Isabella has completed the OCD Basics Certificate through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). This training provided foundational education in the assessment and treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), including the nature of obsessions and compulsions, evidence-based treatment approaches, and the unique challenges faced by individuals living with OCD. This additional training supports Isabella’s work with clients experiencing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and obsessive-compulsive symptoms. 

Bachelor's in Psychology from UC Berkeley

Isabella developed a strong foundation in the study of human behavior, development, and psychological well-being. During her time at Berkeley, she had the opportunity to learn from leading scholars and researchers in the field of psychology, which deepened her appreciation for both the science of human behavior and the complexity of the human experience.   

Deep Experience with Latinx / Hispanic Populations

Isabella has experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and is particularly passionate about working with members of the Hispanic/Latinx community. As a biracial therapist, she brings both personal and professional awareness to conversations about culture, identity, belonging, and family dynamics. Guided by cultural humility and a commitment to ongoing learning, she strives to provide care that is respectful, collaborative, and responsive to each client's unique lived experience.
